“Most memorable New Year”
My Christmas Vacation this year was a bit boring because there so few activities in our house and we don’t celebrate Christmas that may be one of the reasons why? I also don’t have money so I can’t get out of the house. But after Christmas, my vacation started to change because New Year’s Eve was already near. And it is during this time when I was able to watch “Twilight” through my sister’s USB. When I first saw the movie I thought it will be a boring one but when I was watching it, I slowly like it and sooner got addicted to his movie. That movie was fantastic! I felt so in-love that time because of that movie.
December 31 was the most exciting day of my vacation. Everybody in the house was all so busy preparing the foods for the New Year’s Eve. I went to the market with my brother to buy macaroni shells for our macaroni salad. And when I was heading home Ate Myra told me that somebody is waiting for me at home. I got curious who is that person, so I rush home and got disappointed because that person is no other than “kuya jes”, my sister’s suitor. .hahaha I don’t like than guy, he’s so “mayabang”. He’s Niko’s friend. He stayed there ’til 10 am and then he went home already.
In the evening of 31, we went to our church for our final prayer for the year 2008. I feel so calm inside the church and so cherish after the prayer of our provincial minister. But I was so sorry for the wife of ka-Rey, a minister of our church, because her wife was comatose and confined at Metro Vigan Hospital. I asked Kuya Marlon to bring me home that night but we went fist to the hospital to visit Ka-Wilma. Then, we went home.
At home, I checked my cp and read the messages there. I greeted everybody a happy new year and then I text Nicko. I told him I already miss him ‘coz we have a big misunderstanding that time and we are avoiding each other since last November. We were able to reconcile and now were okay. I was so happy because I spent my new year safely and I am with the whole family. Indeed, this was the most memorable new year because of him….thanks to him.
